We finally found our first way to access red chili up here. The dumb part is that if you want it you must become a millionaire before you can purchase an ounce of chili. Oh well! Thanks mom and dad for the extra green chili that we have frozen in our fridge!
Yeah, what's the deal with that anyhow? And you New Mexicans wondered why I would ever eat green chile from a can. It used to be the only way I could get it unless I paid $75 to ship a box or two here in September. (It was worth it until it got held up on 9-11 and arrived in "not-so-fresh" condition.) Now we try to grow our won.
